- [Instructor] Welcome to the Options Trading Strategy video series. So in this particular video, we will be covering about covered call writing strategy. So what I'll be doing is, I'll take you through brief overview of covered call writing, then I'll be taking you through some basics of covered call writing strategy with an example. I'll also be showing you two ways to execute this strategy. Number one, using covered call writing to generate consistent returns or existing investments. And number two, how to anticipate a bottom in the market with minimum risk.
I'll also be looking into instrument selection, and which conditions are suitable for executing this strategy. Also in the end, I'll be showing you how to manage risk in this particular strategy. So let's get started. (dramatic music) - [Narrator] In this channel, we talked about trading, investing, and market analysis to help you become a better investor and trader. So if you are new here, consider subscribing https://casinoslots-sa.co.za/casino-cruise. - [Instructor] So the first part that I would like to cover is covered call writing basics. Now in the previous video, you've have seen how selling options can be risky especially if you don't understand the underlying risk. Covered call riding essentially enables you to write options at a substantially lower risk. in this strategy, you buy a stock, and then you sell equivalent amount of calls at strike price higher than the buying price of the stock. Now this part will be more clear when we get into specific examples. But for now, you need to understand that this strategy is typically used for generating income in market. But I'll also be showing you there how you can use this particular strategy to bottom fish in market with extremely limited risk. Now this was traditionally used only with stocks that is a combination of equities and options, but you can also take up combination of futures and options to execute this strategy successfully. So, I'll just begin with the basics now. So covered called writing is basically a neutral strategy where a trader expects the stock or essentially the price of the asset to remain in a range. Now this is mainly because a trader typically writes, calls in this strategy, and price moves within the range, he allows time to work in his favor. Due to time decay, a premium would be eroded, and that is where he stands to benefit. This particular strategy can also be used as a hedge against a long position in an index or a stock futures. So if you're very bullish, you should just be holding a normal stock or index futures, don't get into this covered call strategy because your upside would be limited. And in case you're very bearish, you should just avoid holding the stock as the premium received, that is the net premium received when you sell the call option that is higher strike call option that would not offset the losses that you are sustained from a falling stock or index. Again, all this particular technical details of this slide would be clear in the upcoming slides. So I'll directly move to examples and risk profile of this particular strategy. Now let me take a hypothetical example here where I'll be taking an example of stock ABC which is trading at rupees 60. So in order to create a covered call strategy, what we will do is we need to buy the stock first, this is the first step. So let's assume we have bought 100 shares of ABC at rupees 60, the second step is now to sell calls at higher strike prices. Now we will now sell us call of 65 strike price at premium of rupees three. So let me just remind this for you, stock purchase price is rupees 60, call option written is at 65 strike price the premium received for the same is rupees three.

No loss Intraday Strategy (Martingale Strategy) in Indian Stock Market with English Subtitles12/24/2018 Hii friends,Welcome to Random Teachings !! Today we will talk about no loss intraday strategy. What ? No loss intraday strategy ? Is it possible ? To know this you will have to watch this video till the end.
The name of this strategy is 'Martingale Strategy' or it's also known as Maths's strategy in Indian Market. Martingale strategy was initially used in roulette and poker, and it is in reality a no loss strategy if you have unlimited funds. That is why after some time zero was introduced in roulette and poker started to have table betting limits. In India or else you can say in Mumbai there are too many so called "Experts" who will first lure you to attend their free seminars and brainwash you to such a limit and talk about their strategies so positively that you will fall for their trap.People pay around Rs.2000 to almost upto Rs.5 lakh for this strategy, yes you heard it right, people even pay Rs.5 lakhs for such strategies. Before we discuss this strategy in detail I would like to advice you to stay away from such experts, tipsters and stop giving them any importance.I will definitely make a separate video about these fraud experts. For now, lets discuss about the strategy. Basically what happens in this strategy is,after every losing postion you open another position with double the quantity.Which means if you started with 1 buy lot and your SL is hit then you will sell 3 lots and have 2 open sell positions.3 sell is to cover 1 buy position and to have 2 open sell positions. If again if your SL hits then you will open 4 buy positions. It's a bit difficult to understand in the beginning so I will explain you with one live example. We will a Crude's position in Indian Commodities market : Suppose Crude opened @3000 and made a high of 3006 and a low of 2998 in the first 15mins candle. So our buying point becomes 3007 and selling point becomes 2997.So to trigger a trade you will either have to hit the buy point first or sell point first. So there will be 2 cases. We will take target as 10pt in this case because the difference in buying point and selling point is 10pt. (Let's see the buy case first : You will start by buying 1 lot at 3007. Either your target will hit or SL.If target hits then trade over. If SL hits then you will have to sell 3 lot at 2997,which makes 2 open sell positions.Again either target will hit or SL.If target hits then 20pts profit minus 10pts loss in first buy trade equal to 10pts profit. But again your SL hits, ow you will buy 6 lots at 3007,if target hits then 40-20-10=10pts profit but if SL hits then again double quantity sell at 2997 i.e 12 lot sell.) You will have to keep doing this until your target is hit. When your target hits you will get back whatever you had bet to win on the first trade, but if you modify a bit on your own, that is instead of 10pts if you take 12pts or 15pts then you will gain more. It is similar when you sell first. You can understand the detail by pausing the video. Even I have worked on this strategy a lot of times,in fact i used this strategy for 6 months without any loss.I modified this strategy further by increasing the no. of lots by more than double. That i used to trade 1,then 3 open positions, then instead of 4 6,then instead of 8 11.Because in this strategy we even have to consider the brokerage that each trade takes, which those extra lots take care of.But this strategy is not that good for long term, even after being such a disciplined trader I used to panic after the 5th or 6th reversals. So whoever uses this strategy please be very careful while using it,yes it definitely gives profits but it's a very dangerous strategy. The drawbacks of this strategy are that we cannot implement this for a big amount. But small traders can definitely try it.Do let us know your experience of using this strategy through comments. That's it for today's video.Thak you for watching the video. Thank You! Hello. My name is David. Thank you for viewing this video.
In this video I will show you how to win the SportPesa jackpot by playing double chances. Please note that you're only permitted to play seven double chances and this comes at an extra cost of two every time you play it. The normal jackpot costs about KES 100 and the minute you double-chance the jackpot the KES 100 is multiplied by two. Let's do this. For this week's jackpot we have about KES 10 million on the SportPesa jackpot and there are 13 games to select. I'll try and do for the following teams; Southampton and Chelsea, maybe I have a hunch or my instincts are telling me that Chelsea will win. But then again they may draw so I double-chance the first time. You see, by double-chancing, the default KES 100 is multiplied by two. For the next selection I'll do Watford then say Montpellier will win. Then I go for maybe a draw for this one or maybe Sporting Gijon will win. The second double-chance I put in there resulted in a double of the KES 200 I had in the previous double chance, to KES 400. For West Bromwich and Crystal Palace, maybe Crystal Palace will win; it's in good form. Then for this one I may decide to double-chance maybe Reims and a draw. Another double-chance multiplies the KES 400 by two making that KES 800. Then I decide Real Sociedad is good so it's going to win. Palermo vs. Bologna, maybe I see a double chance of 1 2 which gets me to KES 1,600. Then we have Nantes and Monaco- there's a high probability that maybe Monaco will win but then again Nantes is home and probably its form is quite good. So I double-chance 1 2 and it gets me to KES 3,200. Then Manchester United and Arsenal- it's a pretty tricky game here. Manchester United are pumped up with young talent playing the best games of their lives, but then again you can't forget that they've been in poor shape. We can do maybe Arsenal and a draw. That gives us KES 6,400. For the next one we can say Augsburg, you can also do another double-chance. This gets you to a total of seven double-chance combinations of KES 12,800. If I decided to do another double-chance.. The maximum allowed is seven double chances so I'll just go with that. I'll say Atletico Bilbao will win and then Manchester City will win. And that is how you win the jackpot by double-chancing. Please remember that it comes at an extra cost. If you're not ready to lose KES 12,800 if things don't go your way please don't play this. But if you have a huge feeling or a big feeling that this jackpot will be yours this week, just double-chance it to the best of your ability to what you can afford to lose. Always remember; gamble responsibly. Thank you. How do I better manage my stress?
Identifying stress and noting the negative effects of it does not reduce the effects of it. Having many possibilities of stress, there are also many other techniques for managing stress. This has a 2 pronged approach, namely, changing the source of stress and changing your reaction to it. Below are some tips to overcome stress which we felt might be relevant for you in terms to overcome your own personal stress issues: 1. Know what make you stress and take note of how you react towards it. ○ Instead of ignoring or even thinking of your problems, try and notice your distress. ○ Be aware of the events that distress you. ○ Determine how you emotionally and physically react to the stress. 2. Identify what you can change. ○ Could you change your stressors by avoiding or eradicating them? ○ Could you reduce the intensity of the stress? ○ Are you able to reduce the exposure with the stress? ○ Do you have the time and energy to bring about this change? 3. Reduce the emotional intensity towards stress. ○ Are you getting hold of your stress through extreme means? ○ Is your goal to please everyone? ○ Are you overreacting by thinking that every trivial work is urgent and important? ○ Avoid laboring yourself on thinking about the “what ifs”. 4. Moderating your physical actions towards stress. ○ Deep breathing slows down your heart rate to the norm. ○ Try relaxation techniques to mollify your muscles. ○ Medications might help deal with short term stress, not in the long run. To find a long term solution, try managing your stress yourself. Build up your physique. ○ Exercise three to four times a week. ○ Eat healthy and well-balanced foods. ○ Maintain your individual weight. ○ Avoid nicotine and excessive caffeine. ○ Combine leisure with work. ○ Get enough stamina and have a consistency in your sleep schedule. 6. Maintain Emotionally Strong ○ Develop relationships with people you trust. ○ Pursue goals which are realistic based on your personal perspective. ○ Expect frustrations and failure along the way. ○ Always be kind and easy on yourself. Treat yourself as a (good) friend. Ways to Use the Internet for Writing
1. Write a poem using 25 words or more. Use SnagIt to capture your poem as an image, then insert this image on a page in Dreamweaver. Save the page, link it to your homepage, and upload the page.htm 2. Read three or four stories in fray.com then write your essay at the end of each. Besides, checks your essay for plagiarism. Create a Web page with Dreamweaver, in which you recommend (or not) these essay to other students. Include links to the specific essays and to the specific Web addresses where we can read your topics. 3. Register with your name and E-mail in stripcreator.com. Create three or four comic strips, and save them in stripcreator.com. Create a Web page with Dreamweaver, in which you explain what you were trying to say with each comic strip. Include links to the specific Web addresses where one could find your comic strips. 4. Every day for two weeks, post a message with your name, e-mail, and the school's URL in response to the prompts at oneword. Copy each post onto a Microsoft Word document. Once you have collected 10 posts, copy them to a Web page that you create with Dreamweaver, and revise them so that they fit together in some surprising, creative way. Save this page, link it to your home page, and upload it. 5. Login at East Side Bloggers. Copy a set of Sentence Starters, and write about a book that you are reading. Post your blog, then look around to see what other students and teachers are saying about the books they are reading, and write responses to a couple of them. You should write in your blog three times a week. 6. Read what the students and teachers in East Siders Against the War have posted on their site. Write back to Lizeth Martinez and others, using the school's e-mail. Explain your position on the war and what you think of their arguments and the work they have been doing. 7. Use Dreamweaver to create a multi-page, multimedia hypertext version of a short story that you wrote last semester (or another time). Include links (internal and out to the Web), images, sound, graphics to re-vise your story almost as if it were a movie on the Web. Link the first page of your story to your home page, Upload everything 8. Read "Just War ” or a Just War?" by Jimmy Carter, and have a chat with 3 to 6 other students in Tappedin.org. Discuss Carter's definition of a just war. Say what you think Carter's position is on the war in Iraq. Explain why you agree or disagree with him. 9. Find your work from "People, Places, Times, and Things," and finish a couple of pages in each category. Then use LizNutz's example to revise your first page, titled "people." Make a link from your home page to "people.htm" 10. Create a "Favorite Links" page with at least 12 links and an image for each site. While a lot of her behaviour started to get on my nerves, I do think we start to see Juliette grow as a character. Leas well as allowing peers who aren't her whole world to support her, were developments we hadn't really witnessed previously. She finds pride in working for Castle, in finally being productive and accomplishing something that doesn't involve hurting people.
"Good Books" he's saying, pulling his boxer-briefs up and rezipping his pants, 'are easily destroyed. But words will live as long as people can remember them...I think there's something about the impermanence of life these days that makes it necessary to etch ink into our skin,' he says. 'It reminds us that we've been marked by the world, that we're still alive. That we'll never forget.' 'Who are you?'" Warner is starting to share pieces of himself that are hidden from the rest of the world. It's assisting in balancing the scales from when he read her journal and became privy to her innermost thoughts. A give-and-take equilibrium is trying to be established, but he's always half in the shadows no matter how hard Juliette tries to draw him out. Reiterating some of what I said in my last post, I may not see a long-term future for him and Juliette, but he captivates me as a character, and I can't seem to get enough (just like Juliette in this book o). "This blond boy has my secrets in his mouth." "I want to study the secrets tucked between his elbows and the whispers caught behind his knees. I want to follow the lines of his silhouette with my eyes and the tips of my fingers. I want to trace rivers and valleys along the curved muscles of his body. My thoughts shock me." How, HOW, does Tahereh manage to write single kisses and the briefest moments that leave you feeling sated and like you're burning up at the same time. HOW. Because they are the moments when I unequivocally love her writing most. You fall headfirst into these scenes and feel like you're living them yourself. Some people loved Chapter 62 while others hated it at least partly for the male half of its equation; to be honest, I was so caught up in the actions and felt like I was living the scene myself that I forgot about the Warner ~problem as those pages flew by. |
